7th International Conference on Functional Materials Science 2025 (ICFMS 2025) will take place in Bali, Indonesia on December 10-11, 2025. It is jointly organized by Universitas Padjadjaran, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Indonesia, and RIKEN.

This International conference is for promoting collaborative research program on physical and chemical studies of functional materials under the collaboration between Indonesian researchers and some researchers from institutions/universities in Asia and Europe. Our first conference held in Bali on April 27-28, 2011, successfully gathered researchers from 14 universities in Indonesia and 10 institutions/universities in Asia and Europe. Our second conference held in Lombok on November 12-13, 2014, also successfully gathered researchers from more universities and institutions in Asia and Europe. The third conference held in Bali on October 19-20, 2016, also successfully gathered researchers from more universities and institutions in Asia and Europe. The forth conference held in Bali, Indonesia, November 13-15, 2018, also successfully gathered researchers from more universities and institutions in Asia and Europe. The fifth conference held ONLINE via ZOOM Platform on November 11-12, 2020, has successfully gathered researchers from universities and institutions in Asia. Recently, the sixth conference was also succesfully held in Bali on November 29-30, 2022 in conjuction with RIKEN SYMPOSIUM in the frame of “Inter Countries and Inter Institutions Network Conference on Developments Functional Materials”

The conference will include plenary speeches, invited presentations, and contributed presentations (oral presentations). All accepted papers from the ICFMS 2025 will be published in international Journal which is indexed in SCOPUS databases.

RIKEN Symposium 2022, has been held successfully in the frame of “International Workshop on Organic Molecule Systems” held in Penang, Malaysia, 2017 (The 1st RIKEN Symposium) and in Bali, Indonesia, November 13-15, 2018 (The 2nd RIKEN Symposium), in collaboration between RIKEN Nishina Center and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The RIKEN SYMPOSIUM is “Inter Countries and Inter Institutions Network Conference on Developments Functional Materials”. Moreover, this symposium is intended to provide a platform for the exchange of research knowledge on organic molecular systems achieved by using muons as well as expanding the RIKEN’s worldwide networks and linkages in collaborative research endeavors. Additionally, this activity also aims to encourage young students and researchers to work in the muon field in the future.
